Hey everybody, Thanks for being here!
Just wanted to touch base and say hi real quick as we cross over from 2025 to 2026. A lot of really great things have happened this year in the world of Crawl Club Publishing. We have had a very successful year getting 6 original publications Kickstarted. In 2026 we will have even more to look forward to as we bring you the next volumes of Righteous Vow and more Shadow Crawler Carnage adventures.

Project Updates
Right now we're hard at work on revision 3.1 of Shadow Crawler Carnage and our editors Laurie and Wayne have tirelessly poured over my poor grammar. I am on page 41 of revisions and I am hopeful to have the next version ready for editor review by this weekend. Also layout is 99.8% complete. We're waiting on a hand drawn space station map to get a revised scan and we have a character sheet revision coming. 

Fun fact: Our character sheet is designed by the one and only Than Gibson, co-designer of Darkspace RPG! It's pretty great collaborating with those guys, and it's amazing how well their kickstarter did. Please allow me this ADD-sidetracked moment to say Congratulations on $100,000+ for the Darkspace RPG Kickstarter. That's amazing!

Maximum Monster Mayhem is coming along. The drafts for most of the legendary authors' adventures are complete and layout has begun. We're also getting special new original art drawn for each new adventure. (Because why wouldn't we?) So it'll be really fun to reveal that as we get closer to the finish line. The goal is still to have these zines sent out in digital formats before February, and to get printing started shortly after. We like to keep things moving!

Next I'm really glad to say that the Righteous Vow Volume 3 Kickstarter is also fully deployed for physical backers. The digital rewards are also mostly sent. We're only waiting on one final piece which will go out to backers in Q1 of 2026. It's a nice set of VTT tokens! (Yeah you guys may have forgot about that stretch goal too. But we're going to make sure we deliver on it!)

After the VTT token pack delivers we can mark that Kickstarter as a success. But until then, thank you so much for your support and we love how positive everyone has been with the deployment of Righteous Vow 3.

Future Projects
The next project for 2026 will be for Righteous Vow Volume 4: Black Masts and Magic. This pirate themed edition of Righteous Vow will have a wealth of new content for Shadowdark RPG players who want to explore a pirate themed campaign for their games. A lot of the artwork and writing is in progress, and we're hoping to have more information in February as we prepare to launch the next Kickstarter for this project.

Thank you for sharing our content with friends and family. We really appreciate every kind word we have received about the new books, the fun you're having with the new adventures, and we get really stoked seeing all of the shelfies you all send us of your Righteous Vow books in your nerd-caves!

If you know someone who missed the kickstarter and wants a copy of Shadow Crawler Carnage we still have late pledges open! We've also just updated the Crawl Club Publishing website with copies of our own printed books, shirts, hoodies, luck tokens, stickers, and other cool stuff!

Finally I just wanted to invite everyone to go and back the Collision Course Kickstarter if you haven't already. The campaign only has about 7 hours left and those guys are making an awesome Darkspace RPG adventure that you're going to want to have on your shelves right along side of Shadow Crawler Carnage. Thanks again for your support of third party creators like Crawl Club Publishing and the many other worthy creators out there making fun content for our favorite games.

We successfully funded and went above and beyond to bring Shadow Crawler Carnage to life!

Thank you to all of you from us at the Crawl Club Publishing team. We're hard at work on the editing and layout to get these zines finished. A huge thank you to all of our legendary writers, editors, artists, and the team that makes these publications possible.

We're still aiming to get the PDFs out to you sometime in January. So be ready for that! We're also hoping to have the books printed and shipped out in the 1st quarter of 2026. (Hopefully we will be printing shortly after the PDFs go out!)

Can't wait to send more updates soon with previews of the material and progress as we get closer to fulfillment.

Many of you are enjoying the Righteous Vow books that shipped out recently from our Righteous Vow Volume 3 Kickstarter. So you know we mean business on delivering a high quality, value filled product that will bring plenty of entertainment to your gaming table. We're looking forward to doing the same with Shadow Crawler Carnage, and we can't wait to meet you at Gary Con in March! Come on out. Say hi! And let's roll some dice!

Thank You Everyone! We're in the Final Hours!

We're in the final 40 hours of our Kickstarter, and we have hit nearly every stretch goal we have put before us. We're just a few hundred dollars away from the final stretch goal to round out our Maximum Monster Mayhem adventures. Hopefully in the next couple of days we will be able to celebrate hitting all stretch goals and party with a funded project!

We couldn't have done any of this without you. So if we haven't said it yet, Thank you! You really do make a difference for small publishers to get our projects realized, and we absolutely cannot wait to bring you Shadow Crawler Carnage! The project is in editing now. And we are hoping to bring you PDFs soon along with printed copies in the first few months of 2026.

Go Back Darkspace RPG and Collision Course!

Darkspace RPG is the system this adventure is written for. Based off of/written to be compatible with the Shadowdark RPG rules. Darkspace RPG is phenomenal, and we can't wait to play all the sci-fi games we can muster once the books get to us.  Plus they have some really amazing extras. I myself couldn't keep from ordering the cool dice bag and zip hoodie! Also I heard if they hit $90K Shadowdark's own Kelsey Dionne will be writing a super awesome Legendary extra for the book. So tell your friends!

We also want to give a shout out to our friends at Midgar Press and their Collision Course Kickstarter. It is funded and they're unlocking new stretch goals as we speak. If you're in need of even more Darkspace RPG adventure content. This is a great project to back!

Another Stretch Goal Smashed! (Michael Putlack)

Master monster designer Michael Putlack of Night Noon Games is our $7K Legendary Author unlock for the Maximum Monster Mayhem companion zine! Michael's work on Shadowdark RPG content is well known throughout the community, and now he will begin creating an excellent Shadow Crawler Carnage adventure to be included with the other amazing legendary authors! Like Adrian Williams of Dungeons & Dyslexia, and Zac Goins of Limithron Pirate Borg fame! (As well as many Shadowdark related offerings!). We are excited to spoil some of the content written by these excellent adventure creators in future updates.

But now, we have 5 days left of the Shadow Crawler Carnage Kickstarter. Can we make it to Will M-B's Legendary Adventure?! We're less than $800 away from making this a reality. Will has written countless Shadowdark related adventures for his mainstay Menagerie Press! He also helped craft the Xenosalvage expansion for Darkspace RPG! (You should definitely pick that up if you haven't already.) Will's third party offerings are always excellent and we can't wait to see his adventure for Shadow Crawler Carnage. The rumor is, his adventure takes place in an abandoned "ShopMart"/ "KostCorp" store overtaken by killer robots! Sounds pretty great to me. Let's make this happen. Shadow Crawler Carnage Live Play!

Last night I was able to run the very first official game (outside of play-testing) of Shadow Crawler Carnage on the Tabletop Bob YouTube channel. Joined by Bob himself, Nate, John, Dexter, and Than Gibson (co-creator of Darkspace RPG!) Got to play one of the adventures included in the new Shadow Crawler Carnage book. If you want a sneak peek at how the new rules and zany monsters work in this sci-fantasy themed adventure book, here's your chance!

Interview with Hermit's Homebrew Podcast

I was also fortunate enough to get to sit down with Nathan from Hermit's Homebrew to talk more about what Shadow Crawler Carnage is, and how rules light systems like Darkspace RPG can mix with Shadowdark RPG to create an experience that lets you play as "pretty much whatever you want to."

We're close to unlocking more Stretch Goals!

We've almost reached Michael Putlack's stretch goal. After that it's going to hopefully be time to focus on Will M-B's stretch goal! These awesome third party Shadowdark RPG authors are creating some excellent adventures for our Maximum Monster Mayhem zine for Shadow Crawler Carnage and Darkspace RPG! So tell your friends about this awesome project. The more people that jump on the backer train, the better the final zines will be! (Plus I'm telling you guys and gals. These are going to be some stellar adventures!)
