Backerkit Survey Time!
You should be receiving your Backerkit Surveys via email this week. (Be sure to check those pesky spam filters if you haven't seen yours.) We're excited to be on the home stretch getting these PDFs out to you so you can begin your adventures. Shipping is planned for early March.
We will give the digital rewards a couple of weeks of play time and reading where you can help us to find anything we may have missed before we go to print. We're VERY hopeful that by then everything will be found and fixed. But the chances are we may have missed a small detail. And it sure would be awesome to get that right before MIXAM starts our print run. So, please do let us know if you find anything. Hopefully everything will look top notch and we will have very little (if anything) to change. But, we have found that the best possible way to be sure is to release the digital files to the masses.
Maximum Monster Mayhem is in editing as we speak. After finishing edits on Shadow Crawler Carnage the Big Ink Writing Services team of editors are hard at work getting MMM ready for release as well. (Laurie and Wayne rock!) This one took us a little longer to get done. And we're hoping to send this out in the next week as well. We're just waiting on a few art pieces that will be finalized soon, as well as the final copy to get updated once the final edits come back.Â
Everything is moving along. The plan is to have these books in hand for you before Gary Con 2026 in March. Thankful for everyone's patience on getting there. But we're nearing the finish line and I'm excited to get these out to you very soon. Â Thanks again for your support. Can't wait to play some games of Darkspace RPG featuring the new Shadow Crawler Carnage adventures soon!
P.S. Also if you know anybody who wants to get a copy of this cool set of zines shipped to their door on day one and they haven't backed yet. Send them this link. Because, hey. That's more friends to play awesome Darkspace RPG adventures with! (Pre-orders are live!)

Be on the lookout...
We're going to start smoke tests for Shadow Crawler Carnage soon. As soon as the initial pledge surveys are returned successfully we will send all surveys to prepare for printing and shipping. Â We will be sending out digital rewards soon, and by March 1st I want to have the books printing.
We are going to be asking for your DriveThruRPG email address, that way we can get all digital rewards delivered through DriveThru once they are ready. We will also be sending at-cost print codes to our international backers so they can print books once the proofs come back for those. It may take a bit as we wait for proofs, but hopefully it will be only about a week or so after we get the books printed (so deliveries should be around the same time.)
The big goal is to have these books at Gary Con in March. I will be running Shadow Crawler Carnage games at all conventions I attend this year. So be sure to come hang out and roll dice with me! I'll love to meet you and hang with you all. :)
Finally, I want to thank you all once again for your support of Crawl Club Publishing and what we do. We are absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Shadowdark RPG community, and we love creating fun adventures for your gaming tables. It is a privilege and honor to be on your bookshelves.Â
-Bill Harvat and the Crawl Club Team
P.S. Now prepare to play games where you fight a giant chicken with chainsaw hands.

We're getting close to Survey Time!
Just wanted to give an update to all of our awesome backers for Shadow Crawler Carnage to once more say a big THANK YOU! Not only for backing this cool Sci-Fantasy project written as a third party adventure mod for Darkspace RPG, but also because we're gearing up for some big things related to Shadow Crawler Carnage in 2026! Â And because you're a backer, you get to be on the front lines of receiving these awesome rules/adventures first!
First things first. Shadow Crawler Carnage itself has gone through it's third revision and made it back from the editors. We have finalized 99.9% of the copy and it is nearly ready to be sent out for PDF distribution. Which means that SCC digital is coming very soon.
The artwork is turning out fantastic, the adventures are going to be a blast to play with your local game groups and at conventions. Everything about SCC really has us excited to bring this rules light, zany, futuristic adventure game-mode to you soon. Expect to see Backerkit Surveys in the coming weeks. We will also be readying this project for DriveThruRPG distribution for PDFs and international backers to print their copies via POD.
Maximum Monster Mayhem is also nearly ready for editing. We are finishing up layout and getting the final art assets in place. We overshot our initial projections with this one. Which is actually much better for everyone who backed the Maximum Monster Mayhem zine. Because we're clocking in at 67 pages (a wee bit more than the 34 pages we initially planned for.) But that's because this will have 7 awesome new adventures in it! Â Adventures by Michael Putlack of Night Noon Games, James Jackson of Tabletop Misfits, Adrian Williams of Dungeons & Dyslexia, William Murakami-Brundage of Menagerie Press, Zac Goins of Snapback Game Studios as well as two more adventures written by myself (Bill Harvat of Crawl Club Publishing.) Which means that this will have 7 brand new adventures to explore in the Darkspace RPG universe! (We never skimp on value!)
Dr. Richter of IRIS Corporation prepares another test subject for enhancements! (Art by Matt Morrow)
Late Pledges ending in January
Also, if you know of someone who hasn't backed yet and wants to. We're going to be ending late pledges Sunday morning and gearing up for the start of initial surveys/digital delivery. So just in case anyone was on the fence about pledging. Tell them it's now or....get it at retail.
Righteous Vow Vol. 4: Black Masts and Magic
Finally, We are gearing up for the next Righteous Vow Kickstarter beginning in March. The plan is to have this baby ready to go and written by then. With a majority of the art and layout done by then too. Right now I'm about 60-70% there. But February is going to be a buckle down and get things done month for me. All of the framework is there, and the ideas are all firmly in place. In fact most of this adventure was written before Righteous Vow volume 1 was ever made. Which is funny because I am changing quite a bit of it based off of the experiences I have had making volumes 1-3. Most of the story will remain the same however. Mostly. We're looking forward to bringing you more awesome art and adventure from the Crawl Club team, and we'd love it if you added yourself to our notification for the project launch by following this link.
Other awesome projects coming soon!
There are some really amazing projects coming very soon that we'd love to share with you if you care to take a look. Here's a few on our radar!
Druskara
Druskarais a complete, ever-evolvingdark fantasy world for Shadowdark RPG that spans four hardcovers and over 1,000 pages of perilous wonder. Here, gods barter over lives, Core Crystals stir corruption, and kingdoms drown in ambition. Every choice your party makes (or neglects) permanently reshapes the fate of Druskara.Â
Coming to Backerkit in March!
Pirate Borg: The Winds of Hell
A daemonic campaign swarming with bloodthirsty undead, Inquisition zealots, and enough pirates to fill all the hulks in the Colonies! Check it out HERE!
That's all for now. More coming very soon. Thanks so much again for your support. We look forward to seeing you all at Gary Con and North Texas RPG Con this year. I also just picked up my badge for PAGE 2027. So I'll be in Philly next year! Â Let's roll dice! -Bill Harvat Crawl Club Commander
Happy New Year Shadow Crawlers!

Hey everybody, Thanks for being here! Just wanted to touch base and say hi real quick as we cross over from 2025 to 2026. A lot of really great things have happened this year in the world of Crawl Club Publishing. We have had a very successful year getting 6 original publications Kickstarted. In 2026 we will have even more to look forward to as we bring you the next volumes of Righteous Vow and more Shadow Crawler Carnage adventures.
Project Updates Right now we're hard at work on revision 3.1 of Shadow Crawler Carnage and our editors Laurie and Wayne have tirelessly poured over my poor grammar. I am on page 41 of revisions and I am hopeful to have the next version ready for editor review by this weekend. Also layout is 99.8% complete. We're waiting on a hand drawn space station map to get a revised scan and we have a character sheet revision coming.Â
Fun fact: Our character sheet is designed by the one and only Than Gibson, co-designer of Darkspace RPG! It's pretty great collaborating with those guys, and it's amazing how well their kickstarter did. Please allow me this ADD-sidetracked moment to say Congratulations on $100,000+ for the Darkspace RPG Kickstarter. That's amazing!
Maximum Monster Mayhem is coming along. The drafts for most of the legendary authors' adventures are complete and layout has begun. We're also getting special new original art drawn for each new adventure. (Because why wouldn't we?) So it'll be really fun to reveal that as we get closer to the finish line. The goal is still to have these zines sent out in digital formats before February, and to get printing started shortly after. We like to keep things moving!
Next I'm really glad to say that the Righteous Vow Volume 3 Kickstarter is also fully deployed for physical backers. The digital rewards are also mostly sent. We're only waiting on one final piece which will go out to backers in Q1 of 2026. It's a nice set of VTT tokens! (Yeah you guys may have forgot about that stretch goal too. But we're going to make sure we deliver on it!)
After the VTT token pack delivers we can mark that Kickstarter as a success. But until then, thank you so much for your support and we love how positive everyone has been with the deployment of Righteous Vow 3.
Future Projects The next project for 2026 will be for Righteous Vow Volume 4: Black Masts and Magic. This pirate themed edition of Righteous Vow will have a wealth of new content for Shadowdark RPG players who want to explore a pirate themed campaign for their games. A lot of the artwork and writing is in progress, and we're hoping to have more information in February as we prepare to launch the next Kickstarter for this project.
Thank you for sharing our content with friends and family. We really appreciate every kind word we have received about the new books, the fun you're having with the new adventures, and we get really stoked seeing all of the shelfies you all send us of your Righteous Vow books in your nerd-caves!
If you know someone who missed the kickstarter and wants a copy of Shadow Crawler Carnage we still have late pledges open! We've also just updated the Crawl Club Publishing website with copies of our own printed books, shirts, hoodies, luck tokens, stickers, and other cool stuff!
Finally I just wanted to invite everyone to go and back the Collision Course Kickstarter if you haven't already. The campaign only has about 7 hours left and those guys are making an awesome Darkspace RPG adventure that you're going to want to have on your shelves right along side of Shadow Crawler Carnage. Thanks again for your support of third party creators like Crawl Club Publishing and the many other worthy creators out there making fun content for our favorite games.
Thanks again for a great 2025! Here's to 2026! Talk to you more soon Crawl Club!

We successfully funded and went above and beyond to bring Shadow Crawler Carnage to life!
Thank you to all of you from us at the Crawl Club Publishing team. We're hard at work on the editing and layout to get these zines finished. A huge thank you to all of our legendary writers, editors, artists, and the team that makes these publications possible.
We're still aiming to get the PDFs out to you sometime in January. So be ready for that! We're also hoping to have the books printed and shipped out in the 1st quarter of 2026. (Hopefully we will be printing shortly after the PDFs go out!)
Can't wait to send more updates soon with previews of the material and progress as we get closer to fulfillment.
Many of you are enjoying the Righteous Vow books that shipped out recently from our Righteous Vow Volume 3 Kickstarter. So you know we mean business on delivering a high quality, value filled product that will bring plenty of entertainment to your gaming table. We're looking forward to doing the same with Shadow Crawler Carnage, and we can't wait to meet you at Gary Con in March! Come on out. Say hi! And let's roll some dice!
